March is ARC Month!

Hello lovelies!

I have officially declared March ARC month! I am truly truly tired of constantly wading through my epically ridiculous ARC pile (15 books. 15!). My NetGalley % is barely 50 and the Edelweiss downloads crowding my Kindle taunt me on a daily basis. Which is probably why I haven't charged that thing for a month.

I can hear the books crying to be read from the digital prison, and that ish gets disturbing.

For the sake of my sanity AND my ARC numbers, I'm dedicating this month to catching up on all of those ARC books (old and new) that are waiting to be finished and reviewed.

ARC Goal

My ARC goal is going to be 10 ARC books. Here are some of the books I'll be choosing from my ARC pile.

25667026 25667027 25785357 25768892 24789796 18516113 23531315 24187925 20312461 25796019 17290345 13260524

A super nice bonus to this monthly challenge, is that I'll put a huge dent in my NetGalley/Edelweiss reading goal for the year!

Silver - 25 books

1/25 books

What else is going to be happening in March? Well, I have a HUGE and AWESOME announcement to make in a few weeks. I mean, like, super nova huge and awesome. I can't wait to share it with you, so keep a look out.

Lots of love, bibliobabes!

Let's Be Friends!

Auggie is the 29 year old whirlwind owner of Auggie-Talk. A bibliobibuli by nature and a (potentially obsessive) lover of Diana Wynne Jones and Neil Gaiman. Not so secrety secret: She's been known to consume too much caffeine leading to hyperactive rants about her heinous lack of shelving and the high likelihood that Hermione Granger is her spirit animal.

The Sitch!

Ok people, here's the sitch.

I've written five different versions of a post since the first of February but haven't posted it because it's just not finished. Why?

I was sick for about a month, like nauseous-can't-eat-anything-want-to-punch-everything-in-the-face type of sick.

I didn't blog, I didn't read, I didn't do anything really except wander aimlessly around the house, cry, and watch Netflix. It was a real experience.

Finally, last week, I started feeling MUCH better. I almost feel completely normal again! I've managed to catch up on a bit of my reading and now am not QUITE so behind on my goals.

However, other big stuff is happening. We've been house hunting, are now officially buying a house,  AND we just welcomed a new puppy into the fold. Life has been hectic. So, blog has been silent.

Blog will continue to be silent until March 1. This gives me a few more days to let things settle. There are a couple of other big announcements to make in the next few weeks, but hopefully they won't actually interrupt the blogging process.

Thanks for continuing to visit! Don't give up! New posts will be coming.

Love love love love!
