Book Gathering #32

Going along with our 2015 Blog goal to participate more in memes, Auggie-Talk is starting back up with the weekly Book Gatherings. We'll be participating in Stacking the Shelves, with Tynga's Reviews  and Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer

I'm in my last semester of Library school and am taking a Children's Literature 4-6 course. The requirements include reviewing 100 different juvenile books, so things are going to be pretty hectic and fun! You'll see a lot of the books I've chosen in the book gatherings! There are weekly themes, and I love recommendations! So feel free!

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

The Sunday Post

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

I'm also trying to make good on a goal to vlog more, even though there are ZERO places in my apartment that have good lighting. Especially at night. Guh. This Book Gathering features a vlog option! Huzzzaah!

  1. Lovely haul, especially those books from the library. The Graveyard Book was one of my favourite reads last year, I thought it was quite unique and quirky. I really enjoyed the Giver as a series, there is a review up on my blog if you're interested! Happy reading, looks like you have a fun few weeks ahead.

    1. Thank you for linking your review for the Giver, I'll definitely give it a looksee. I knew it was a series but I've never picked up any of the other books. Maybe it's time for me to do that!

    1. It's a challenge but I think I can do it! And rereading will actually be a thing for me this year (I hardly ever re-read books). Thank you thank you, Mel!

  9. The Giver is such a great read!!!! I've been meaning to watch the movie that they made based off of it but I haven't yet. I really like the looks of those books by Barbara Bretton!
