10 Book Blogger Pet Peeves and Bout Of Books 9.0 Day 2 Progress

Hello my darling little pea blossoms!

LAST DAY TO SIGN UP!!!!! Get to it! -------->Bout of Books Sign Up

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team
As a reminder here's my GOAL POST
(As of 1:00pm Day 2)

256/ 256 pages. 100% done!

"The Ocean At The End Of the Lane" was a fantastic book. It was definitely a quick read (story kept you intrigued!) but wonderful and definitely worth the wait for this Neil Gaiman gem.

*ahem*... You know what I mean.

0/ 597 pages. 0% done!

Day 7 of Parajunkee's New Year Blogger Challenge. Bam!

Day 7
Top 10 Book blogger Pet Peeves

1. Wrestling with the blog layout (can never get that darn CSS right)
2. Post Formatting
3. Reading books that have not yet been edited (I will edit your work and be happy to do it if I understand that's what I'm in for otherwise yikes. Yikes.)
4. Working with an author who doesn't appreciate their own talent. YOU'RE WONDERFUL! START BELIEVING IT!
5. Not being able to read every single book that I want to for the blog because I have this thing called "Rent" to consider.
6. Not being able to participate in EVERY SINGLE Giveaway, blog hop, and reading challenge because I already don't get enough sleep.
7. Not being able to work with every author that contacts me (this one actually really gets to me because I want to say "YES" to everyone!")
8. Being EVEN MORE aware of how long I have to wait for that book to be released.

9. Having to do battle daily with whether or not I'm ecstatic about the existence of eBooks or still mildly appalled.

10. Not being able to do this for a living (yet). Drat! Drat! Double Drat!

Well, book lovers. That's all for today's update! (Though I WILL be posting an updated progress bar by the end of this evening).

Until Next Blog,

Read On!
