Bout of Books 6.0 Wrap Up!

Happy Monday my dearlings.

Today is the "Wrap Up" post for the Bout of Books 6.0 Read-a-thon.

I am EXHAUSTED! This weekend was so much fun and so relaxing, but I've been up late every night reading.

I'm 75% through with my EPIC read for the month, an 800+ page High Fantasy by David M. Brown.

I'm really enjoying it and I'm looking forward to introducing it to all of you in a review soon.

If you're a high fantasy fan, go ahead and take my word (without a review) that you're going to enjoy this one.

Go ahead and check out the Goodreads page for the synopsis.

Alright. And now for the purposepost of the day.

My B.O.B 6.0 Read-a-thon wrap up!

BOUT OF BOOKS
READ-A-THON

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team
Challenge Results

Okay, so my goal was 7 books in 7 days. How did I do?
ALMOST MADE IT!
Books Read:

Pages Read: 1, 800!

I almost did it! I got a lot closer, honestly, than I originally thought I would. I'm very proud that I did one book a day, considering especially that the two days I had off were dedicated to mostly things I don't normally get to do. So I didn't read much on those days.

This Bout of Books was SO much fun, especially with the chats. I met a lot of really great bibliophiles and I'm looking forward to the next on in May!

Why don't you join us then?

Until Next Blog,

Read On!

  1. Sounds like you had an epic week! That's a ton of pages to get read and way to go for chipping away at a monster read like that :) I'm looking forward to the next Bout of Books!

  2. You got a lot read over the week :) I've been wanting to read Fever 1793 and Everneath is on my TBR list for February.
